From September 25-27, 2025, Distitec participated in GIS 2025 – Giornate Italiane del Sollevamento e dei Trasporti Eccezionali (Italian Days of Lifting and Exceptional Transport), held at Piacenza Expo.
The trade fair for the handling sector, which takes place every two years and continues to record steady growth both in terms of visitors and exhibitors, has confirmed itself as an event of great significance.
An international trade fair in constant evolution
The 2025 edition was particularly significant thanks to its record numbers: 18,000 visitors and 495 exhibitors (a 15% increase compared to 2023), and an exhibition space 25% larger.
These figures testify to the importance of the event not only at a local level but also on an international scale: GIS is now recognized as the most important European trade fair dedicated to lifting, handling and special transport.
Distitec's presence
For Distitec, participation in GIS represented a fundamental milestone. Thanks to its experience in the production of bearings for lifting, both in standard versions and especially in customized ones, the company confirms its role within a highly technical and competitive market.
