Steel profiles for combined bearing

If combined bearings and rolled steel profiles are used in an application, in addition to the dimensioning of the bearing, attention must also be paid to the resistance of the profile, which, unlike the bearing, does not require heat treatments that increase its structural strength.

The HOESCH rolled steel sections supplied by Distitec are made from structural steel in the annealed state
Fe510C (ST 52-3 U).

Rolled “U” PROFILES

 

Are commonly used in various industries where linear handling is required. They are often used in forklift masts, but also in the food, textile and automotive industries. Within these profiles, the combined bearings of all kinds slide with a centred and not inclined outer profile, small and medium-sized.

The “U” machined profiles

 

Are obtained directly from the rolled U profiles. The surfaces on which the combined bearings slide are machined with a machine tool, resulting in an excellent surface finish with extremely limited tolerances. This guarantees an absolutely precise coupling between the bearing and the profile, reduces the play between them up to the stop and thus becomes an excellent economical alternative to linear guides on the market.
 

Rolled “H” profiles

 

Are only used in forklift masts. Within these profiles, the combined bearings of all kinds slide with an inclined outer profile for a perfect coupling with the profile.
 

The "H" machined profiles

 

Are obtained directly from the rolled "H" profiles. The surfaces on which the combined bearings slide are machined with a machine tool, resulting in an excellent surface finish with extremely limited tolerances. This guarantees an absolutely precise coupling between the bearing and the profile, reduces the play between them up to the stop and thus becomes an excellent economical alternative to linear guides on the market.
 

The welded and milled "U" PROFILES

 

Profiles are obtained by welding standard laminate panels or panels obtained by laser cutting. They are then straightened and milled on the surfaces on which the bearings slide. Although they are large, they guarantee good precision and a good coupling between the bearings and the profile. They are used in heavy industry, from masts of large capacity forklifts to machines or large handling systems.

Fork plates

 

The profiles for fork plates are special profiles through  which the forks of forklifts can be moved. Considering there many different guides suitable for different forklift , there are also many types of fork plates profiles, depending on the needs of the customer.
